Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piotr Walentowicz in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludomil Jeziorkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafal Witwicki in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Brzonkala saved Pogoń Szczecin from getting behind. Bogdan Brzonkala made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Marian Chrobak sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Rafal Witwicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jaroslaw Wawrukiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pogoń Szczecin's protests and gave Jaroslaw Wawrukiewicz a yellow card for diving instead.
