With a little luck, Krusz SSA's Lucjan Majusiak got control of the ball when Roch Piechna tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roch Piechna got free with Lucjan Majusiak in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucjan Majusiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartlomiej Walkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute of the match Waclaw Krzynowek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucjan Majusiak skillfully saved the ball. Raków Częstochowa were furious when Fryderyk Pietrowiak was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Witomir Gmoch placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Raków Częstochowa's Mieszko Jakisz got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jerzy Niedbalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Przebendowski having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Krusz SSA's Arkadiusz Dawiec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Przebendowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Krusz SSA booed when Raków Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Zacharek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Krusz SSA's Jerzy Niedbalski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerzy Przebendowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Krusz SSA's Lucjan Majusiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Piechna in the 79th minute of play. Jerzy Przebendowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Dawiec in the 83rd minute of the match. If Jerzy Niedbalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mieszko Jakisz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Krusz SSA's Arkadiusz Dawiec fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Jerzy Niedbalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Przebendowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Krusz SSA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
