When Victoria Jaworzno's Radomil Banas in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Widzew Czestochowa's goalie prevented a goal. If Iwan Oryniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Ryszard Swoboda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Widzew Czestochowa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Swoboda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute Ryszard Swoboda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Bator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludomil Bator came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Widzew Czestochowa's Iwan Oryniak. But to his dismay, Iwan Oryniak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 28 minutes of play, Widzew Czestochowa's Iwan Oryniak made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ludomil Bator was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Roch Ziemba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the game, Mieszko Raflewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Victoria Jaworzno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Widzew Czestochowa the free kick. After 38 played minutes Victoria Jaworzno got a freekick which was hit by Mieszko Raflewski. In the 42nd minute, Ryszard Swoboda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ludomil Bator, passed just outside the right post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryszard Swoboda made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Radomil Banas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cezary Jaszcz was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Widzew Czestochowa's Cezary Jaszcz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Banas in the 56th minute of play. Ryszard Swoboda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Bator having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Widzew Czestochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roch Ziemba to maneuver through the defense. Cezary Jaszcz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Banas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 71 minutes, Ryszard Swoboda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Widzew Czestochowa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Swoboda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Victoria Jaworzno's goalkeeper Ludomil Bator, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Iwan Oryniak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludomil Bator was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Radomil Banas came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Victoria Jaworzno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomil Banas couldn't finish the play. Iwan Oryniak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ludomil Bator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Widzew Czestochowa's Ryszard Swoboda in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Victoria Jaworzno's goalie prevented a goal. Widzew Czestochowa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
