Widzew Czestochowa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwan Oryniak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Maksymilian Furgat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Julian Lewkowicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cezary Jaszcz. Julian Lewkowicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. A hard shot 90 in the game by Maksymilian Furgat from a close distance when the talented Cezary Jaszcz managed to make a qualified save. Widzew Czestochowa's players were relieved. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Olaf Sikola got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 97th minute, Widzew Czestochowa's Pankracy Szostak seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pankracy Szostak the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Widzew Czestochowa protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pankracy Szostak had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Widzew Czestochowa! Potód's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
