Korneliusz Jaraczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Swoboda in the 13th minute of the match. Aleksander Zawadzki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Korneliusz Jaraczewski. BUKOVINA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Widzew Czestochowa were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after BUKOVINA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aleksander Zawadzki took the corner. Wawrzyniec Gdaniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cezary Jaszcz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Widzew Czestochowa got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Szostak. Widzew Czestochowa's Cezary Jaszcz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wawrzyniec Gdaniec in the 29th minute of play. BUKOVINA's Wawrzyniec Gdaniec got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. BUKOVINA's Korneliusz Jaraczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Swoboda in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Zenon Panikowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BUKOVINA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Widzew Czestochowa the free kick. A collision led to BUKOVINA getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Zenon Panikowski hit a great ball. If Iwan Oryniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the game, Iwan Oryniak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Korneliusz Jaraczewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The BUKOVINA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Widzew Czestochowa were winning 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wawrzyniec Gdaniec to strike the kick off in the second half. When Iwan Oryniak came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Widzew Czestochowa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwan Oryniak couldn't finish the play. Ryszard Swoboda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Korneliusz Jaraczewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Adamski charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Adamski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Igor Adamski hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The supporters of BUKOVINA booed when Widzew Czestochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwan Oryniak didn't get a good kick on the ball.
