When Napoleon Kolba came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Lechia Dzierżoniów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Napoleon Kolba couldn't finish the play. Tolek Kasprzak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tanek Penkalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lechia Dzierżoniów's Boleslaw Ciempa got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Leszek Dula, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tanek Penkalski was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Boleslaw Ciempa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lechia Dzierżoniów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caroleans the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lechia Dzierżoniów's Boleslaw Ciempa got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tolek Kasprzak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leszek Dula in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanek Penkalski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damian Zieba took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tanek Penkalski. Lechia Dzierżoniów's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Lechia Dzierżoniów players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Caroleans were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Napoleon Kolba to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Lechia Dzierżoniów's zone, Tolek Kasprzak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanek Penkalski came out of the goal and Tolek Kasprzak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wasyl Solibieda hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The supporters of Caroleans booed when Lechia Dzierżoniów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Czerwinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaw Zacharzewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Napoleon Kolba's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Napoleon Kolba in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaw Zacharzewski saved Caroleans from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Lechia Dzierżoniów's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Dula came free, but Tanek Penkalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tolek Kasprzak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Penkalski having to interfere. With a little luck, Lechia Dzierżoniów's Tanek Penkalski got control of the ball when Tolek Kasprzak tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Napoleon Kolba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jurand Lizewski came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Lechia Dzierżoniów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurand Lizewski couldn't finish the play. The Lechia Dzierżoniów supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Caroleans's performance. The match ended with a win for Caroleans.
