Janusz Kaider came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by KM Kraków SA's Tanek Zbydniewski. But to his dismay, Tanek Zbydniewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Janusz Kaider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Filipkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Miromir Ptaszek fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kondek Nowa Huta's protests and gave Miromir Ptaszek a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KM Kraków SA booed when Kondek Nowa Huta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miromir Ptaszek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th match minute, Kondek Nowa Huta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakub Balonek to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, KM Kraków SA's Mariusz Olender tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. KM Kraków SA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Dobromir Drzewucki scored to the left of an out of position Damian Smuskiewicz, making the score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Kondek Nowa Huta's Jakub Balonek got a free kick in the 29th minute. Janusz Kaider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Filipkowski in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Kondek Nowa Huta getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Miromir Ptaszek hit a great ball. Janusz Kaider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Pawlik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Witalis Filipkowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Janusz Kaider was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Edward Pawlik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Edward Pawlik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KM Kraków SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Witalis Filipkowski to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Tanek Zbydniewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Janusz Kaider. That made the score 1-4 in the 57 minute of play. In the 61st minute, Witalis Filipkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Edward Pawlik managed to get in a good position for a shot. KM Kraków SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Pawlik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janusz Kaider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Janusz Kaider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Filipkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Radowit Bara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Witalis Filipkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janusz Kaider having to interfere. In the 78th minute, KM Kraków SA's Witalis Filipkowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Janusz Kaider. Janusz Kaider yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. If Edward Pawlik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radowit Bara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Balonek in the 89th minute of play forced KM Kraków SA's goalkeeper Damian Smuskiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kondek Nowa Huta getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Radowit Bara hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ksawery Blicharz during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KM Kraków SA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
