The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in GOGI BEARS's zone, Zbyszko Smolak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincenty Rzeszutko came out of the goal and Zbyszko Smolak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dawid Jestrimski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Mariusz Dobilas made a huge save. After 26 minutes, Benedykt Piechocki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czerniki SSA and the GOGI BEARS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Benedykt Piechocki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Wawrzyniec Falkowski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Czerniki SSA's Mariusz Dobilas didn't even have to move. Wincenty Rzeszutko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Damaski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Waldemar Jekot fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GOGI BEARS's protests and gave Waldemar Jekot a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to GOGI BEARS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Waldemar Jekot hit a great ball. Bogdan Damaski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacek Rywin was the one to do the kick off. Wincenty Rzeszutko made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Zbyszko Smolak sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Ryszard Brodzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jacek Rywin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wincenty Rzeszutko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszko Smolak in the 75th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Zbyszko Smolak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czerniki SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zbyszko Smolak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zbyszko Smolak succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 86th playminute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czerniki SSA's goalkeeper Mariusz Dobilas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
