When Waclaw Prus fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Milan's protests and gave Waclaw Prus a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Waclaw Prus hit a great ball. If Waclaw Prus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waclaw Prus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Mieszko Mochowak made a huge save. Zygmunt Falkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Wladyslaw Erland fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Milan's protests and gave Wladyslaw Erland a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladyslaw Erland to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Falkowski in the 31st minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Maksymilian Skirzynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lucjan Czajkowski sped through AC Milan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maksymilian Skirzynski. In the 44th minute, Zygmunt Falkowski made a precise shot to the right of Maksymilian Skirzynski. AC Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Miodek to make the kick off. Mieszko Mochowak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waclaw Prus in the 52nd minute of the match. Zygmunt Falkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 57 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Majkowski. If Bernard Augustyniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Zygmunt Falkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maksymilian Skirzynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maksymilian Skirzynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Falkowski in the 65th minute of play. Lucjan Majkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucjan Majkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 78 minutes, Waclaw Prus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waclaw Prus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute of the match Kryspin Majdoch sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mieszko Mochowak skillfully saved the ball. Bernard Augustyniak hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Bernard Augustyniak's late challenge caught a AC Milan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Augustyniak helped the player get up and apologised. AC Milan's Jerzy Rakiewicz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mondtken. Lucjan Czajkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maksymilian Skirzynski having to interfere. Bernard Augustyniak kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Mondtken supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mondtken would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
