The audience thought a goal was coming when Dariusz Gniech got free with Aureliusz Solecki in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franciszek Pusiak kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Dariusz Gniech succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-2 in the 39th playminute. If Radoslaw Trynda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 minutes, Marian Mielak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pretoria Olsztyn and the FC Lambada players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

Dariusz Gniech charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dariusz Gniech the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
