The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th minute Gwidon Erland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Wiater saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, ARTY ŻOLIBORZ's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Céliz came free, but Bartosz Bronkala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Patryk Mocko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Zachariasz Tylenda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Danziger's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachariasz Tylenda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Bronkala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bartosz Bronkala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Céliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Emmanuel Céliz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Danziger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bartosz Bronkala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariasz Tylenda in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Aleksander Rakowski managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Radomil Budrewicz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Emmanuel Céliz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartosz Bronkala was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emmanuel Céliz to make the kick off. Danziger's Stasio Wiater played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Kordalewski in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Erland in the 59th minute of play forced Danziger's goalkeeper Stasio Wiater to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartosz Bronkala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Céliz's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Emmanuel Céliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartosz Bronkala having to interfere. After some careless play in the Danziger defense, Gwidon Erland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stasio Wiater. The Danziger fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stasio Wiater should have stopped the shot. The supporters of ARTY ŻOLIBORZ booed when Danziger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcin Zgonina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emmanuel Céliz scored 1-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartosz Bronkala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th match minute, Danziger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Aresti to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the game, Marcin Zgonina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Danziger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ARTY ŻOLIBORZ the free kick. A collision led to Danziger getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Marcin Zgonina hit a great ball. Edward Cichowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartosz Bronkala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emmanuel Céliz went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Danziger were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over ARTY ŻOLIBORZ's much stronger midfield.
