Stefan Brzeszczak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Witomir Gardocki made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Stefan Brzeszczak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Witomir Gardocki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 65th minute, Sarajevo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lech Kocieniewski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Adriano Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarajevo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Brzeszczak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. A hard shot 91 in the game by Stefan Brzeszczak from a close distance when the talented Witomir Gardocki managed to make a qualified save. Sarajevo's players were relieved. The Sarajevo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Marxöwen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
