An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Brak in the 9th minute of play forced Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie's goalkeeper Waldemar Zaremba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Klement Kornasiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie's protests and gave Klement Kornasiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. Klement Kornasiewicz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Waldemar Zaremba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boleslaw Zagrodny in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie's Igor Domeradzki made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tolek Piwowarski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernard Franzik might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waldemar Zaremba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernard Franzik ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 30 minutes, Boleslaw Zagrodny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Omega Wrocław's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boleslaw Zagrodny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Radoslaw Harasimowicz scored to the left of an out of position Waldemar Zaremba, making the score, 1-1. Waldemar Zaremba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Franzik, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 45th match minute, Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Domalik to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludomil Hetman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Okraszewski in the 54th minute of play forced Omega Wrocław's goalkeeper Tolek Piwowarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolek Piwowarski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ludomil Hetman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 69 minute of play. Wlodzimierz Domalik hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Omega Wrocław's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Okraszewski came free, but Tolek Piwowarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Omega Wrocław's Gwidon Olejasz got a free kick in the 85th minute. Marek Dziatkowicz, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. In the 92nd minute, Marek Dziatkowicz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Omega Wrocław's Tolek Piwowarski didn't even have to move. In the 94th match minute, Omega Wrocław was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Dres to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugeniusz Cichowski during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Cichowski. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
