The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie's Waldemar Zaremba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Kaczorowski in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, K.S. Karpaty Krosno's Andrzej Logewnik got control of the ball when Igor Domeradzki tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Wlodzimierz Domalik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrzej Logewnik. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Andrzej Logewnik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludomil Hetman's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Igor Domeradzki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Andrzej Logewnik made a huge save. After 16 minutes, Kazimierz Hoffman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the K.S. Karpaty Krosno and the Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Kazimierz Hoffman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Ludomil Hetman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrzej Logewnik was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Marek Dziatkowicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrzej Logewnik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, K.S. Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Andrzej Logewnik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wlodzimierz Domalik. Andrzej Logewnik was a little too slow when Wlodzimierz Domalik got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-0. Roman Kaczorowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldemar Zaremba having to make a save. If Roman Kaczorowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Kazimierz Hoffman managed to get in a good position for a shot. K.S. Karpaty Krosno's supporters rose to their feet, but Kazimierz Hoffman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Zaremba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ludomil Hetman to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, K.S. Karpaty Krosno's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Domalik came free, but Andrzej Logewnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrzej Logewnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Domalik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie's Lucjan Wlodyga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Grzegorz Bulkiewicz in the 55 minute of the game. If Wlodzimierz Domalik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Ludomil Hetman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrzej Logewnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kazimierz Hoffman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Waldemar Zaremba came out and tried to block the shot, but Kazimierz Hoffman slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 59th minute. A collision led to Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Igor Domeradzki hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie's Lucjan Wlodyga got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute of the match, Kazimierz Hoffman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Waldemar Zaremba was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Andrzej Logewnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Domeradzki in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bogumil Balkiewicz hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Wlodzimierz Domalik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Team Zdrooy Jastrzebie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 86 minutes into the game, Igor Domeradzki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Andrzej Logewnik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the game, Igor Domeradzki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1.
