The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryszard Burowski got free with Wit Wolnik in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hetman Gacek's Wit Wolnik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Hetman Gacek from getting a goal against them. If Ryszard Burowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tanek Treppa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Golen SSA's Filip Awizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Opat in the 26th minute of play. Ryszard Burowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wit Wolnik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Opat in the 31st minute of play forced Golen SSA's goalkeeper Filip Awizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ryszard Burowski came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Golen SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryszard Burowski couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Marian Ligas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wit Wolnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Molski in the 37th minute of play. Marian Ligas kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Waclaw Fleszar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Golen SSA booed when Hetman Gacek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Ligas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ryszard Burowski made the kick off in the second half. After 54th play minutes Ryszard Burowski shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Wit Wolnik and just under the crossbar into goal. After 57 minutes of play, Golen SSA's Tanek Treppa made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wit Wolnik was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Marian Ligas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hetman Gacek's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Ligas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Awizo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Ryszard Burowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wit Wolnik. Hetman Gacek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryszard Burowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Wit Wolnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Molski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Ryszard Burowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wit Wolnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wit Wolnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Mnich, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Witold Molski struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Wit Wolnik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golen SSA. After some careless play in the Hetman Gacek defense, Ryszard Burowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wit Wolnik. The Hetman Gacek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wit Wolnik should have stopped the shot. Filip Awizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Opat, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Burowski in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wit Wolnik saved Hetman Gacek from getting behind.
