The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Stal Brzeźnica's zone, Stanislaw Derlanga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radowit Marchlewicz in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patryk Purzycki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute of the match Stal Brzeźnica got a corner. Chrzanowo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benedykt Borkowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 26 played minutes Stal Brzeźnica got a freekick which was hit by Hieronim Puszynski. After some careless play in the Stal Brzeźnica defense, Tymoteusz Rykaczewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Munúa. The Stal Brzeźnica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Munúa should have stopped the shot. Stal Brzeźnica's Radowit Marchlewicz managed to work through Chrzanowo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Radowit Marchlewicz dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 39th minute, Borys Malik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chrzanowo's Patryk Purzycki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Marchlewicz in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Stal Brzeźnica's Zenon Chuchro got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Gustavo Munúa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucjan Biraga went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Chrzanowo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Radowit Marchlewicz 49 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2.

In the 67th minute, Radowit Marchlewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
