Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Powodów's Leonides Sobre started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of RTS Widzew Łódź booed when Powodów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulryk Hoffman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beniamin Jarosz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Powodów fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Rodolfo Muelas, was totally fooled by RTS Widzew Łódź's Julian Kornaszewski, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some careless play in the RTS Widzew Łódź defense, Radomil Lipinski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zachariasz Paraszczuk. The RTS Widzew Łódź fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachariasz Paraszczuk should have stopped the shot. Radomil Lipinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Paraszczuk having to interfere. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Leonides Sobre sped through RTS Widzew Łódź's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zachariasz Paraszczuk. Tadeusz Zerde received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodolfo Muelas came out and tried to block the shot, but Tadeusz Zerde slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 30th minute. Zachariasz Paraszczuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Lipinski in the 35th minute of play. Stefan Serwach hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Zachariasz Paraszczuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Sobre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeusz Zerde was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Kaznocha in the 57th minute of play forced Powodów's goalkeeper Rodolfo Muelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Sobre had several of the RTS Widzew Łódź's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Zachariasz Paraszczuk as he didn't even see the shot coming. Radomil Lipinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Paraszczuk having to interfere. When Stefan Serwach was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, RTS Widzew Łódź's Stefan Serwach got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a little luck, RTS Widzew Łódź's Zachariasz Paraszczuk got control of the ball when Radomil Lipinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Leonides Sobre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zachariasz Paraszczuk. Leonides Sobre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Sobre got free with Zachariasz Paraszczuk in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chants of Powodów echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as RTS Widzew Łódź had held the ball for most of the match.
