Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tadeusz Pacholewski kicked off to start the match. Izydor Wlodyga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeusz Pierz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. A very good chance. In the 39thth minute of the game Olaf Gleba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skupowo's Tadeusz Pierz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tadeusz Pacholewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Skupowo booed when Pomierzyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Tomaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olaf Gleba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franciszek Okropny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Pacholewski in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Tadeusz Pacholewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skupowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeusz Pacholewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olaf Gleba in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeusz Pierz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Olaf Gleba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Olaf Gleba put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tadeusz Pierz. Andrzej Korytkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Franciszek Okropny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Skupowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Trojanowski to maneuver through the defense. Pomierzyn's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
