After a defensive mix-up in Pokój's zone, Andrzej Penc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolek Grajewski came out of the goal and Andrzej Penc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolek Klucznik got free with Leon Napierkowski in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to NeverEndingStory getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Piotr Domaradzki hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game Ludomil Rakiewicz took the chance and shot a long shot on goal. In spite of Leon Napierkowski awareness of the shot he didn't succeed to stop the ball, and watched as it rolled inside the left pole. 2-0. Tolek Grajewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Dziatkowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tolek Grajewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Penc in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wiktor Dziatkowicz made a kick off. Wiktor Dziatkowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 played minutes Pokój got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Rydz. 55 minutes into the match, Pokój's goalkeeper Tolek Grajewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrzej Penc. Tolek Grajewski was a little too slow when Andrzej Penc got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 2-1. Leon Napierkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Klucznik, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Andrzej Penc might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tolek Grajewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrzej Penc ran back to his position shaking his head. If Roman Podolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Wiktor Dziatkowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 77th minute of the match, Andrzej Penc got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tolek Grajewski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Roman Podolski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Napierkowski was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Dariusz Bobrowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Roman Podolski came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Pokój fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Podolski couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wlodzimierz Zdanowicz during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
