Sowin NH Krakow's Bogdan Chludzinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Sowin NH Krakow from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Galus in the 38th minute of play forced NeverEndingStory's goalkeeper Leon Napierkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, NeverEndingStory's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Golob came free, but Leon Napierkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiktor Dziatkowicz was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, NeverEndingStory's Leon Napierkowski got control of the ball when Marian Golob tried to sneak it across the goal line. NeverEndingStory's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sowin NH Krakow the free kick. In the 70th match minute, NeverEndingStory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Domaradzki to maneuver through the defense. After 75 minutes, Igor Niedzwiecki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sowin NH Krakow and the NeverEndingStory players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sowin NH Krakow getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Igor Niedzwiecki hit a great ball. The supporters of NeverEndingStory booed when Sowin NH Krakow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Ciupierdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
