But to his dismay, Wiktor Dziatkowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Andrzej Penc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roch Czysty was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, NeverEndingStory's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Kapinos came free, but Leon Napierkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, NeverEndingStory's Andrzej Penc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roch Czysty narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Piotr Domaradzki kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Stanislaw Burowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Napierkowski having to interfere. Remigiusz Mroczynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Leon Napierkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Smarków Warsaw SA's Waclaw Ochabski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 47th minute, NeverEndingStory's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stanislaw Burowski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Wiktor Dziatkowicz made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Remigiusz Mroczynski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, NeverEndingStory's Piotr Domaradzki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roch Czysty made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Leon Napierkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Ochabski, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Roch Czysty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Dziatkowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanislaw Burowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Napierkowski having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Smarków Warsaw SA's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Dziatkowicz came free, but Roch Czysty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a left leg Leon Napierkowski saved NeverEndingStory from getting behind. Dariusz Chludzinski hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Waclaw Ochabski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Napierkowski having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Waclaw Ochabski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smarków Warsaw SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Waclaw Ochabski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Napierkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle went the supporters of NeverEndingStory were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Smarków Warsaw SA side.
