After 5 minutes of play, Marianex's Roland Napierkowski made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radomir Podowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Wlodzimierz Sokolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radomir Podowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radomir Podowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roland Napierkowski went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ryszard Paciuszko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Olszewski in the 31st minute of play. After 38 minutes Lomboo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dariusz Bielejewski who took care of the corner kick. In the 39th minute, Dariusz Bielejewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Mateusz Olszewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ryszard Paciuszko was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 45th minute Péter Lipcsei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Podowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Paciuszko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Gabis in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tanek Sierocki was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Lomboo's Adam Gabis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ryszard Paciuszko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Lomboo's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Milko came free, but Radomir Podowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Marianex's Ryszard Paciuszko got control of the ball when Wladyslaw Sedzikowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Dariusz Bielejewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radomir Podowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The supporters of Lomboo booed when Marianex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Jankowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lomboo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Sokolski hit a great ball. Roland Szkarpiak hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Radomir Podowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Bielejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 83rd minute, Lomboo's Tanek Sierocki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-2. Marianex's Ryszard Paciuszko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Sierocki in the 90th minute of play. Radomir Podowski came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marianex's Dariusz Bielejewski. But to his dismay, Dariusz Bielejewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2.
