The supporters of Gorzelnia Heyken booed when Witulten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Komanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zachariasz Plucinik charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Norbert Bienienda came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Witulten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Bienienda couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasyl Bejrut in the 28th minute of play forced Witulten's goalkeeper Florian Wielowiejski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wasyl Bejrut in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Wielowiejski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wincenty Dembowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Wielowiejski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Norbert Bienienda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Norbert Bienienda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gorzelnia Heyken's Izydor Ramzinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florian Wielowiejski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Bejrut in the 40th minute of the match. Norbert Poreda's late challenge caught a Gorzelnia Heyken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norbert Poreda helped the player get up and apologised. Florian Wielowiejski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasyl Bejrut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wasyl Bejrut to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Gorzelnia Heyken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wit Okropny to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Wasyl Jestrimski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Witulten's supporters rose to their feet, but Wasyl Jestrimski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Izydor Ramzinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wincenty Dembowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Wielowiejski having to interfere. Norbert Poreda hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Wincenty Dembowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Florian Wielowiejski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 61st minute of the match Norbert Poreda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Norbert Poreda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 76th minute Wasyl Bejrut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Wielowiejski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wincenty Dembowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
