Spectators: 7482 (Terracing: 5613, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Janiki's Alfred Nakonieczny started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3rd play minutes Alfred Nakonieczny shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Sylwester Bobrowski and just under the crossbar into goal. Sylwester Bobrowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Lagiewniki, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The supporters of K.S Speed Slask booed when Janiki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwidon Zajac didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kazimierz Brataniec came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the K.S Speed Slask fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kazimierz Brataniec couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute, one of Janiki:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Janiki. The goalkeeper, Wincent Perkowski, was totally fooled by K.S Speed Slask's Bartlomiej Soszka, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 22 played minutes K.S Speed Slask got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Hludzenski. After a rather tough play, Janiki's Dariusz Dula got a free kick in the 24th minute. Wincent Perkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Witomir Miarka in the 25th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Janiki's Alfred Nakonieczny nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sylwester Bobrowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When Mieszko Lagiewniki came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Janiki fans jumped to their feet. Przemyslaw Motyl hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Wincent Perkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Kapinos in the 55th minute of the match. Mieszko Lagiewniki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Sylwester Bobrowski made a huge save. Alfred Nakonieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Bobrowski having to interfere. K.S Speed Slask's Sylwester Bobrowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save K.S Speed Slask from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, K.S Speed Slask's Przemyslaw Motyl got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Bartlomiej Soszka hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Mieszko Lagiewniki in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sylwester Bobrowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Sylwester Bobrowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alfred Nakonieczny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
