It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lucjan Ziemniak kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Plathe's goal looked a bit too open when Hieronim Dranka came free, but Wincent Kilarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Plathe's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Hatman came free, but Wincent Kilarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tytus Wierzbicki scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wincent Kilarski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucjan Ziemniak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Arkadiusz Zatorski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kacper Dranka took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkadiusz Zatorski. Arkadiusz Zatorski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Mersine's Napoleon Hatman got a free kick in the 21st minute. Lucjan Ziemniak struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Arkadiusz Zatorski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plathe. In the 26th minute, Teofil Gierlach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wincent Kilarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Dranka, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Izydor Marajda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Kilarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes, Lucjan Ziemniak made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mersine's Arkadiusz Zatorski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mersine's Arkadiusz Zatorski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Ziemniak in the 45th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Plathe's Arkadiusz Zatorski threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucjan Ziemniak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tytus Wierzbicki to make the kick off. Izydor Marajda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wincent Kilarski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wincent Kilarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Wierzbicki in the 53rd minute of play. Przemyslaw Dres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Mersine's Tytus Wierzbicki ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wincent Kilarski. Wincent Kilarski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The supporters of Mersine booed when Plathe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kacper Dranka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Izydor Marajda got free with Wincent Kilarski in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wincent Kilarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Wierzbicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Ziemniak in the 79th minute of play forced Mersine's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Zatorski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkadiusz Zatorski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Dranka in the 80th minute of play. After 81 minutes, Damian Koprowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mersine and the Plathe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mersine's Damian Koprowski got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Franciszek Popowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plathe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Zbigniew Andryszyn hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Adam Sochacki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wincent Kilarski having to make a save. Plathe's Lucjan Ziemniak got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kacper Dranka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Plathe defense, Hieronim Dranka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wincent Kilarski. The Plathe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wincent Kilarski should have stopped the shot. The Mersine supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mersine would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
