Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alfred Nakonieczny made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, Mersine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Bronkala to maneuver through the defense. When Leszek Gardocki came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Janiki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leszek Gardocki couldn't finish the play. After having played for 9 minutes, Alfred Nakonieczny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Janiki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Nakonieczny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Tytus Wierzbicki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mersine's supporters rose to their feet, but Tytus Wierzbicki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wincent Perkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wincent Perkowski made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Izydor Marajda sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the game, Karol Knopek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Janiki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mersine the free kick. Izydor Marajda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tytus Wierzbicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincent Perkowski having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Alfred Nakonieczny cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arkadiusz Zatorski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Alfred Nakonieczny came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Janiki fans jumped to their feet. Arkadiusz Zatorski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Nakonieczny's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Alfred Nakonieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Zatorski having to interfere. Mieszko Lagiewniki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arkadiusz Zatorski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Mieszko Lagiewniki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Janiki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mieszko Lagiewniki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Alfred Nakonieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Zatorski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mersine's zone, Alfred Nakonieczny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arkadiusz Zatorski came out of the goal and Alfred Nakonieczny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Koprowski hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tytus Wierzbicki was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Damian Koprowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mersine's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Janiki the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mersine's Damian Koprowski got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Napoleon Hatman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mieszko Lagiewniki spun around in front of the goal 55 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Mersine's goal. Tytus Wierzbicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gwidon Zajac hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Mieszko Lagiewniki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Arkadiusz Zatorski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mersine's Arkadiusz Zatorski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Nakonieczny in the 67th minute of play. Tytus Wierzbicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Wincent Perkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Mersine's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Nakonieczny came free, but Arkadiusz Zatorski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mieszko Lagiewniki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Arkadiusz Zatorski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Tytus Wierzbicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfred Nakonieczny had several of the Mersine's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Arkadiusz Zatorski as he didn't even see the shot coming. Arkadiusz Zatorski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Nakonieczny in the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mersine's Damian Koprowski got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the match was over Janiki could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mersine throughout the match.
