The referee ignored HC Madball Jasło's protests and gave Beniamin Mierzwa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, one of HC Madball Jasło:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for HC Madball Jasło. Waclaw Dziurowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Michal Piwowarski made a huge save. HC Madball Jasło's Michal Piwowarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Rakowicz in the 86th minute of play. There was no doubt that FC Częstochowa 2022 were the better team. FC Częstochowa 2022's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
