After a defensive mix-up in Janiki's zone, Iwo Blochowiak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincent Perkowski came out of the goal and Iwo Blochowiak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karol Knopek hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Ciecierówka's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Lagiewniki came free, but Andrzej Jaroszewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Ciecierówka got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Dawiec. 35 minutes into the match, Janiki's Alfred Czubski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mieszko Lagiewniki struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Andrzej Jaroszewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Janiki. The audience was convinced that Alfred Nakonieczny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrzej Jaroszewicz was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Ciecierówka's Rafal Dawiec got a free kick in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. After 77 played minutes Ciecierówka got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Dawiec. Gwidon Zajac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrzej Jaroszewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Nakonieczny in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Ciecierówka's goalkeeper Andrzej Jaroszewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mieszko Lagiewniki. Ciecierówka's Edward Tyski suffered a sore thigh after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Dariusz Dula fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Janiki's protests and gave Dariusz Dula a yellow card for diving instead.
