After a defensive mix-up in Janiki's zone, Tadeusz Czekaj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincent Perkowski came out of the goal and Tadeusz Czekaj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alfred Nakonieczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Janiki's Mieszko Lagiewniki, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Janiki. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Nakonieczny in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Tepper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the game, Mieszko Lagiewniki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Edgar Tepper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Mieszko Lagiewniki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Tepper was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 80thth minute of the game Gwidon Zajac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turauken's Edgar Tepper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Turauken defense, Mieszko Lagiewniki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Tepper. The Turauken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Tepper should have stopped the shot.
