In the 10th minute, Tolek Pysz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aureliusz Miazga hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Nabar Nawawi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Chłyt Materkindody's Bernardo Silva made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Chłyt Materkindody getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bogdan Miarka hit a great ball. Slawomir Dulka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Eutropio in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Bernardo Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chłyt Materkindody's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Wojciech Fafinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slawomir Dulka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gwidon Podwojski went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Chłyt Materkindody's Slawomir Dulka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Chłyt Materkindody from getting a goal against them. Slawomir Dulka was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Anacleto Eutropio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anacleto Eutropio really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Manchester City F.C's Jonas Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdzislaw Rzegotka in the 43rd minute of play. Chłyt Materkindody's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Gwidon Podwojski scored to the left of an out of position Slawomir Dulka, making the score, 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When Zdzislaw Tylenda fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester City F.C's protests and gave Zdzislaw Tylenda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Zdzislaw Tylenda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Chłyt Materkindody defense, Zdzislaw Tylenda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Slawomir Dulka. Slawomir Dulka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Manchester City F.C's Jonas Sena got control of the ball when Bernardo Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chłyt Materkindody's Bernardo Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Slawomir Dulka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Tylenda in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Bjarne Ottem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester City F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chłyt Materkindody the free kick. The supporters of Chłyt Materkindody booed when Manchester City F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Ottem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jonas Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nabar Nawawi in the 82nd minute of the match. Slawomir Dulka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Eutropio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute Aureliusz Miazga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slawomir Dulka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slawomir Dulka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Eutropio in the 87th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Chłyt Materkindody got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Rzegotka. Tolek Pysz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Tylenda in the 96th minute of play forced Chłyt Materkindody's goalkeeper Slawomir Dulka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chłyt Materkindody's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
