Slawomir Dulka had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Jan Blicharz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Blicharz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Slawomir Dulka. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Robert Banan kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Nabar Nawawi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tytus Kociniewski hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiktor Jurgiel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wiktor Jurgiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Pysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Wiktor Jurgiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Kornaszewski in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Nabar Nawawi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chłyt Materkindody made a substitution. Zdzislaw Rzegotka replaced Zygmunt Kornaszewski. The supporters of Chłyt Materkindody booed when Nawiady was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Hodyl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Jurgiel having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Zdzislaw Pierz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chłyt Materkindody's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zdzislaw Pierz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chłyt Materkindody played a much better game than Nawiady and deserved their victory. The Nawiady players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
