In the 3rd minute Gilbert Kazanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigiusz Gongola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Gilbert Kazanowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stomil Olsztyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C. Gumi Elblag the free kick. After a rather tough play, Stomil Olsztyn's Gilbert Kazanowski got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 11th minute, Stomil Olsztyn's Piotr Pilitowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Remigiusz Gongola. Remigiusz Gongola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Remigiusz Gongola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Pilitowski in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the A.C. Gumi Elblag defense, Ksawery Buda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigiusz Gongola. The A.C. Gumi Elblag fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigiusz Gongola should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Stomil Olsztyn's Gilbert Kazanowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Tanek Praski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bogdan Banan went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Stomil Olsztyn's Piotr Pilitowski got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 played minutes A.C. Gumi Elblag got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Sobczak. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Piotr Pilitowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stomil Olsztyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Piotr Pilitowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigiusz Gongola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A.C. Gumi Elblag's Remigiusz Gongola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save A.C. Gumi Elblag from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kazimierz Marajda during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Remigiusz Gongola successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 39 minutes of play, A.C. Gumi Elblag's Cezary Trojanowski made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tanek Praski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Stomil Olsztyn's Wincenty Chazon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Remigiusz Gongola. Remigiusz Gongola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Piotr Pilitowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Ksawery Buda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigiusz Gongola having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Piotr Pilitowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigiusz Gongola was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Wincenty Chazon kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Boguslaw Brataniec made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Stomil Olsztyn's Patryk Piwowarski. Cezary Trojanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Praski having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Cezary Trojanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Stomil Olsztyn booed when A.C. Gumi Elblag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Drzewucki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remigiusz Gongola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Buda in the 78th minute of the match. After 81 minutes of play, Stomil Olsztyn's Ksawery Buda made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigiusz Gongola was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Cezary Trojanowski fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C. Gumi Elblag's protests and gave Cezary Trojanowski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to A.C. Gumi Elblag getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cezary Trojanowski hit a great ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C. Gumi Elblag's goalkeeper Remigiusz Gongola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Remigiusz Gongola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Pilitowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Tanek Praski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Banan in the 91st minute. Tanek Praski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Banan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Buda in the 94th minute of play forced A.C. Gumi Elblag's goalkeeper Remigiusz Gongola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stomil Olsztyn were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of A.C. Gumi Elblag for a fine match.
