Remigiusz Gongola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When A.C. Waldemar Awizo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karol Sliwinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigiusz Gongola having to interfere. Remigiusz Gongola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Awizo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, A.C. Gumi Elblag's goal looked a bit too open when Bartosz Markowski came free, but Remigiusz Gongola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Olimpia HSB booed when A.C. Gumi Elblag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Olejarz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Banan in the 35th minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Artur Chlebek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gumi Elblag's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 47th minute, Bartosz Markowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bogdan Banan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, one of A.C. Gumi Elblag:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for A.C. Gumi Elblag. Remigiusz Gongola had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Ludomir Walec's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the A.C. Gumi Elblag defense, Ludomir Walec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigiusz Gongola. The A.C. Gumi Elblag fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigiusz Gongola should have stopped the shot. Waldemar Awizo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Chlebek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Marajda in the 68th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Banan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Chlebek was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. A collision led to A.C. Gumi Elblag getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cezary Trojanowski hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, A.C. Olimpia HSB's Artur Chlebek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Banan in the 80th minute of play. Remigiusz Gongola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Ewertowski in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Bogdan Banan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Chlebek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Bogdan Banan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Banan in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Chlebek saved Olimpia HSB from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Olimpia HSB eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
