The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ksawery Buda struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute Wincenty Chazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Chlebek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartosz Markowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Praski having to interfere. Tanek Praski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Awizo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olimpia HSB's Artur Chlebek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Pilitowski in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilbert Kazanowski in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Chlebek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stomil Olsztyn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Bartosz Markowski scored to the left of an out of position Tanek Praski, making the score, 2-1. Gilbert Kazanowski hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Ludomir Walec was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Bartosz Markowski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Olimpia HSB's Waldemar Awizo got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 57th play minutes Wincenty Chazon shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Artur Chlebek and just under the crossbar into goal. Gilbert Kazanowski charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilbert Kazanowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stomil Olsztyn getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gilbert Kazanowski hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Maksymilian Okropny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wincenty Chazon came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Stomil Olsztyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wincenty Chazon couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Stomil Olsztyn getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Tytus Giejda hit a great ball. Artur Chlebek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Pilitowski in the 70th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, one of Olimpia HSB:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Piotr Pilitowski walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 79th minute, Radoslaw Kiewra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Chlebek made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Ksawery Buda sent off a good shot on target. Gilbert Kazanowski was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gilbert Kazanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Olimpia HSB booed when Stomil Olsztyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincenty Chazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stomil Olsztyn's Piotr Pilitowski got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wincenty Chazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute of the match Ludomir Walec shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tanek Praski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Olimpia HSB fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stomil Olsztyn were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
