Zbyszek Gacek's late challenge caught a Liliopol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Remigiusz Ziombkowski sped through Widnica Podskale Cichawa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerzy Mosiniak. Beniamin Modrzewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Remigiusz Ziombkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Mosiniak having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Edmund Flis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Widnica Podskale Cichawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liliopol the free kick. Bogumil Zembrzuski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Tusk in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Remigiusz Ziombkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerzy Mosiniak was relentless in the 55th minute of the game.
