Feliks Zajac started the match with the kick off. After 8 played minutes Łódzki Klub Sportowy got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Osikowicz. After a rather tough play, EL-FUTBOL Elbląg's Iwo Czerniak got a free kick in the 9th minute. The throw-in from Waclaw Wyrostek in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Łódzki Klub Sportowy's Miroslaw Drzewucki. A collision led to Łódzki Klub Sportowy getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Miroslaw Drzewucki hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Andrzej Damaski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL-FUTBOL Elbląg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Maciej Walicki fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL-FUTBOL Elbląg's protests and gave Maciej Walicki a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Łódzki Klub Sportowy booed when EL-FUTBOL Elbląg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maciej Walicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Miroslaw Drzewucki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wasyl Kostrzewa was a little too slow when Feliks Zajac got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. Wladyslaw Dropinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Damaski, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 52 minutes, Feliks Zajac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Łódzki Klub Sportowy and the EL-FUTBOL Elbląg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Feliks Zajac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wasyl Kostrzewa was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Zula Bejgier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wasyl Kostrzewa. EL-FUTBOL Elbląg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zula Bejgier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 78 minutes into the match, EL-FUTBOL Elbląg's goal looked a bit too open when Feliks Zajac came free, but Wasyl Kostrzewa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Feliks Zajac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wasyl Kostrzewa was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Jacek Purzycki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wasyl Kostrzewa having to make a save. Łódzki Klub Sportowy's Feliks Zajac got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Łódzki Klub Sportowy made a substitution. Maciej Pieprz replaced Stefan Lamczyk. After 84 played minutes Łódzki Klub Sportowy got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Drzewucki. When Andrzej Damaski came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the EL-FUTBOL Elbląg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrzej Damaski couldn't finish the play. Łódzki Klub Sportowy's Herbert Barycz was substituted for Feliks Zajac. Herbert Barycz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Wasyl Kostrzewa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacek Purzycki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. EL-FUTBOL Elbląg's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
