An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Zajac in the 4th minute of play forced KGHM ZAGLEBIE LUBIN's goalkeeper Feliks Dziatkowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boleslaw Derlanga hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. If Boleslaw Derlanga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, Łódzki Klub Sportowy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslaw Drzewucki to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, KGHM ZAGLEBIE LUBIN's goal looked a bit too open when Feliks Zajac came free, but Feliks Dziatkowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliks Dziatkowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Purzycki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40thth minute of the game Feliks Zajac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KGHM ZAGLEBIE LUBIN's Feliks Dziatkowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Wieslaw Osikowicz in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KGHM ZAGLEBIE LUBIN's Boleslaw Derlanga. Florian Wieloch made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jurand Figlewski. After the first half Łódzki Klub Sportowy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boleslaw Derlanga to strike the kick off in the second half. KGHM ZAGLEBIE LUBIN's Feliks Dziatkowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zula Bejgier in the 52nd minute of play. KGHM ZAGLEBIE LUBIN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Jacek Purzycki scored to the left of an out of position Feliks Dziatkowicz, making the score, 0-3. Wladyslaw Dropinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslaw Antoszewski in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Zula Bejgier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KGHM ZAGLEBIE LUBIN's Feliks Dziatkowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save KGHM ZAGLEBIE LUBIN from getting a goal against them. KGHM ZAGLEBIE LUBIN's attentive Boleslaw Derlanga managed to snatch the ball when Herbert Giejda made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. 74 minutes into the game, Herbert Giejda threw the ball into play from the sideline.
