In the 3rd minute, Stefan Borkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Polonia Marklowice's Douglas Nascimento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zbyszek Nakoneczny. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. In the 8th minute Gustaw Solarek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 何远威 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbyszek Nakoneczny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglas Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Polonia Marklowice's Stefan Borkowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zbyszek Nakoneczny. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. The Polonia Marklowice fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Polonia Marklowice's Walery Wolnik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 22 played minutes Polonia Marklowice got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Porajewski. In the 24th minute, Douglas Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszek Nakoneczny. Trumieje's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Trumieje's Zbyszek Nakoneczny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Trumieje from getting a goal against them. Zbigniew Porajewski's late challenge caught a Trumieje's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zbigniew Porajewski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Polonia Marklowice's Zbigniew Porajewski got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Olgierd Lampe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 何远威 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Waldemar Pliszka notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Trumieje's Zbyszek Nakoneczny. Zbyszek Nakoneczny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zbigniew Porajewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszek Nakoneczny having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wawrzyniec Skonieczny to make the kick off. When Marek Zyskowski fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trumieje's protests and gave Marek Zyskowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute Walery Wolnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Trumieje getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Olgierd Lampe hit a great ball. In the 57th minute of the match Piotr Marchewka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zbyszek Nakoneczny showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 59th minute Walery Wolnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trumieje's Zbyszek Nakoneczny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Borkowski in the 61st minute of play. Walery Wolnik hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Roman Matela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbyszek Nakoneczny was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. If Waldemar Pliszka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Douglas Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Trumieje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Rzeszutko to maneuver through the defense. Zbyszek Nakoneczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Wolnik in the 77th minute of play. Zbyszek Nakoneczny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walery Wolnik's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 86th minute Douglas Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Piotr Marchewka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polonia Marklowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Piotr Marchewka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbyszek Nakoneczny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zbigniew Porajewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zbyszek Nakoneczny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zbyszek Nakoneczny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Borkowski went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Polonia Marklowice's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
