Zdzislaw Kopyl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Dominik Walczak sped through Polonia Bytom's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zdzislaw Kopyl. Zdzislaw Kopyl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Walczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Claudio Argi made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gruszowiec's Dominik Walczak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zdzislaw Kopyl. Zdzislaw Kopyl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. In the 56th minute, Gruszowiec's Dominik Walczak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Gruszowiec's Dominik Walczak got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Dominik Walczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Kopyl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominik Walczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Kopyl having to interfere. Ksawery Polkoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Dominik Walczak fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Zdzislaw Kopyl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Zawadzki in the 73rd minute of the match. Dominik Walczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gilbert Ogrodowicz got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 78th minute, Gilbert Ogrodowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominik Walczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Zdzislaw Kopyl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominik Walczak in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zdzislaw Kopyl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pawel Panasewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Dominik Walczak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Zdzislaw Kopyl when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dominik Walczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zdzislaw Kopyl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominik Walczak ran back to his position shaking his head. After 93 minutes, Hugon Figlewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polonia Bytom and the Gruszowiec players grew even worse after the yellow card.
