If Cezary Maurycy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Robert Solibieda fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VFB GRAMZOW's protests and gave Robert Solibieda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Robert Solibieda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gai Leon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miromir Cwynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Podolski having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miromir Cwynar got free with Herbert Podolski in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florian Czysty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Gomolka in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Miromir Cwynar could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Herbert Podolski however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miromir Cwynar got free with Herbert Podolski in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Gai Leon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florian Czysty. VFB GRAMZOW's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gai Leon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damazy Gomolka to strike the kick off in the second half. VFB GRAMZOW's Miromir Cwynar got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herbert Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Cwynar in the 69th minute of the match. Bartlomiej Walczyk hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Solibieda in the 75th minute of play forced PKS Obra Kościan 1912's goalkeeper Herbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Cwynar in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Teobald Piekarczyk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VFB GRAMZOW's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PKS Obra Kościan 1912 the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Solibieda in the 96th minute of play forced PKS Obra Kościan 1912's goalkeeper Herbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
