An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincenty Augustyn in the 19th minute of play forced PKS Obra Kościan 1912's goalkeeper Herbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PKS Obra Kościan 1912's Herbert Podolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Tobaczewski in the 21st minute of play. During the 61st minute of the match Wincent Kochanowicz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wincent Kochanowicz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Czeslaw Tobaczewski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Herbert Podolski came out and tried to block the shot, but Czeslaw Tobaczewski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 67th minute. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Wincenty Augustyn took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Herbert Podolski to make any attempt to save it. 75 minutes into the match, PKS Obra Kościan 1912's goalkeeper Herbert Podolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Fujara. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Gai Leon sped through Łazanek Fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ksawery Nieruchliwy. Herbert Podolski made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Damazy Fujara sent off a good shot on target. The Łazanek Fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Łazanek Fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
