Maarten Boersma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Herbalists Opole's Eugeniusz Wiatrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Kajdasz in the 40th minute of play. Jurand Kajdasz took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugeniusz Wiatrak. Eugeniusz Wiatrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Kajdasz in the 42nd minute of play forced Herbalists Opole's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Wiatrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Start Mszana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maarten Boersma to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jurand Kajdasz was the one to do the kick off. Stasio Borowski kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Fabian Boruta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zygmunt Pyrtek in the 59th minute. A collision led to Start Mszana getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ulryk Ludwiczak hit a great ball. Eugeniusz Wiatrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarten Boersma in the 67th minute of play. Jurand Kajdasz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Wiatrak having to interfere. The Start Mszana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Start Mszana's goalkeeper Fabian Boruta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Maarten Boersma made a precise shot to the right of Eugeniusz Wiatrak. Herbalists Opole's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After a rather tough play, Start Mszana's Jurand Kajdasz got a free kick in the 90th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Herbalists Opole players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Start Mszana.
