Spectators: 7723 (Terracing: 5793, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Rossonero's Richy Vuerinx started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 19 played minutes Rossonero got a freekick which was hit by Ignacy Bubczyk. Richy Vuerinx scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugeniusz Wiatrak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Zygmunt Pyrtek notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rossonero's Edward Marchlewicz. Edward Marchlewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the game, Aleksander Zuraw cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Eugeniusz Wiatrak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zygmunt Pyrteks short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Edward Marchlewicz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Herbalists Opole's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benedykt Werra in the 40th minute. After taking down the ball on Herbalists Opole's corner Zygmunt Pyrtek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edward Marchlewicz quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Zygmunt Pyrtek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edward Marchlewicz. That made the score 2-3 in the 41 minute of play. The supporters of Rossonero booed when Herbalists Opole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Wisniewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 minutes of play, Rossonero's Aleksander Zuraw made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugeniusz Wiatrak was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Rossonero were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 minutes of play, Herbalists Opole's Stasio Borowski made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Marchlewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edward Marchlewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Pyrtek, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksander Zuraw in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugeniusz Wiatrak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richy Vuerinx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Eugeniusz Wiatrak made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Zygmunt Pyrtek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edward Marchlewicz was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Jakubiak in the 65th minute of play forced Rossonero's goalkeeper Edward Marchlewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
