When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Zbigniew Pyczkowski sped through Bratuszyn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wincenty Zdanowicz. Pogromcy Flaków's supporters rose to their feet, but Kryspin Wierzchowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wincenty Zdanowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Witomir Lemiesz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bratuszyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogromcy Flaków the free kick.
