Phoenix's Roman Golob proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix from getting a goal against them. Roman Golob was a little too slow when Zygmunt Pietrowicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 12th minute Szczepan Nikodemski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Owsiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Szczepan Nikodemski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Wataha Rugby PTryb's Jaroslaw Owsiak. Jaroslaw Owsiak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zygmunt Pietrowicz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roman Golob firmly grabbed it by the left post. 1-2 became the score in the 20th minute when Szczepan Nikodemski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jaroslaw Owsiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Nikodemski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Nikodemski in the 27th minute of play forced Wataha Rugby PTryb's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Owsiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Szczepan Nikodemski in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaroslaw Owsiak saved Wataha Rugby PTryb from getting behind. In the 28thth minute of the game Szczepan Nikodemski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wataha Rugby PTryb's Jaroslaw Owsiak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Szczepan Nikodemski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Owsiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Phoenix's Mieszko Jarosz got a free kick in the 36th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Phoenix's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Hyska came free, but Roman Golob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes Wataha Rugby PTryb's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juliusz Sochacki who took care of the corner kick. After 40 played minutes Wataha Rugby PTryb got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Logofătu. After a defensive mix-up in Wataha Rugby PTryb's zone, Juliusz Sochacki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaroslaw Owsiak came out of the goal and Juliusz Sochacki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute Szczepan Nikodemski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Owsiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Nikodemski in the 45th minute of play forced Wataha Rugby PTryb's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Owsiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartosz Kura hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Zygmunt Pietrowicz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Roman Golob skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After the first half Phoenix were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Szczepan Nikodemski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roman Golob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Walaszkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When 沈鹏强 fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wataha Rugby PTryb's protests and gave 沈鹏强 a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Pietrowicz in the 62nd minute of play forced Phoenix's goalkeeper Roman Golob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Zygmunt Pietrowicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Roman Golob was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zygmunt Pietrowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Golob. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zygmunt Pietrowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Roman Golob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Pietrowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Bogdan Winnicki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jaroslaw Owsiak, 2-4. Roman Golob didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zygmunt Pietrowicz went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Juliusz Sochacki hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Szczepan Nikodemski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jaroslaw Owsiak made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, Wataha Rugby PTryb's Zygmunt Pietrowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Golob narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Szczepan Nikodemski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaroslaw Owsiak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the game Bogdan Jajecznica made a throw-in which Bartosz Kura played forward. Roman Golob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Pietrowicz in the 96th minute of play. Juliusz Sochacki's late challenge caught a Wataha Rugby PTryb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juliusz Sochacki helped the player get up and apologised. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Phoenix had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
