The audience thought a goal was coming when Dawid Mlekodaj got free with René Higuita in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CZĘSTOCHOWA FC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Tęcza Miłomłyn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dawid Mlekodaj took the corner. CZĘSTOCHOWA FC's Dawid Mlekodaj was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but René Higuita in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dawid Mlekodaj did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised René Higuita 9 minutes into the match. René Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peng in the 12th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, CZĘSTOCHOWA FC's René Higuita threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peng, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. René Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Mlekodaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Åke Dahlkvist made a precise shot to the right of René Higuita. Tęcza Miłomłyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dawid Mlekodaj in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg René Higuita saved Tęcza Miłomłyn from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng in the 43rd minute of play forced Tęcza Miłomłyn's goalkeeper René Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute of the match CZĘSTOCHOWA FC got a corner. Tęcza Miłomłyn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dawid Mlekodaj ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dawid Mlekodaj got away a dangerous shot. Despite this René Higuita quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tęcza Miłomłyn's goalkeeper René Higuita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sergio Manteca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tęcza Miłomłyn made a substitution. Miromir Pachucki replaced Tomasz Dec. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Manteca made a kick off. In the 60thth minute of the game Dawid Mlekodaj who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tęcza Miłomłyn's René Higuita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Peng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Peng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that CZĘSTOCHOWA FC were the better team. CZĘSTOCHOWA FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
