The audience thought a goal was coming when Marian Zembrzuski got free with Zachary Zacharzewski in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Przygorzele's goalkeeper Zachary Zacharzewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Zembrzuski. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Deput, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marian Zembrzuski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Przygorzele's Zachary Zacharzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Zembrzuski in the 22nd minute of play. The Przygorzele fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Przygorzele's Iwo Deput looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Marian Zembrzuski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Maziarz in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikolaj Jerzyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Adam Maziarz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikolaj Jerzyk was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Adam Pacholewski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zachary Zacharzewski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zachary Zacharzewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Zembrzuski's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Przygorzele's Adam Maziarz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikolaj Jerzyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Zembrzuski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Iwo Deput had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Przygorzele booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Christobal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United's zone, Konrad Pacholewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Przygorzele's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Zembrzuski came free, but Zachary Zacharzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Newcastle United players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
