In the 7th match minute, Saturn Świętochłowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomasz Major to maneuver through the defense. Korneliusz Maziarz, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bogdan Spychalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Czerniak in the 15th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Eugeniusz Golota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saturn Świętochłowice and the Burza Pogoria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Burza Pogoria's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Korneliusz Maziarz in the 20th minute. Burza Pogoria's Korneliusz Maziarz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bogdan Spychalski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 26th minute, Rafal Ogrodowicz made a precise shot to the right of Wincenty Malewicki. Burza Pogoria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Bogdan Spychalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Zaremba in the 34th minute of the match. Burza Pogoria's Wincenty Malewicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Zawacki in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Maksymilian Zbytniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Spychalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match Burza Pogoria got a corner. Saturn Świętochłowice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Korneliusz Maziarz ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Eugeniusz Golota came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Saturn Świętochłowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugeniusz Golota couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Burza Pogoria's goalkeeper Wincenty Malewicki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugeniusz Golota. Saturn Świętochłowice's Bogdan Spychalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Zaremba in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tytus Grondzki to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Burza Pogoria defense, Eugeniusz Golota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wincenty Malewicki. The Burza Pogoria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wincenty Malewicki should have stopped the shot. If Rafal Ogrodowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Czerniak in the 72nd minute of play forced Saturn Świętochłowice's goalkeeper Bogdan Spychalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burza Pogoria's Wincenty Malewicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Zawacki in the 74th minute of play. Rafal Ogrodowicz struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Wincenty Malewicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saturn Świętochłowice. Burza Pogoria's Grzegorz Zaremba got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tytus Grondzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Spychalski having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Golota notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Burza Pogoria's Wincenty Malewicki. Wincenty Malewicki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roland Czerniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Spychalski having to interfere. Korneliusz Maziarz lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Saturn Świętochłowice a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wojciech Mruk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Burza Pogoria's Wincenty Malewicki. 4-0. Wincenty Malewicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Golota, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Saturn Świętochłowice were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Burza Pogoria for a fine match.
