The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes KP Opel Kamień got a freekick which was hit by Omar Little. Gu Bang Jun scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jurand Bycofski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 8 minutes of play, KP Opel Kamień's Konstanty Kajder made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jurand Bycofski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The KP Opel Kamień fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when KP Opel Kamień's Trond Langøy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Trond Langøy hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Lechia Gdańsk's Jurand Bycofski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trond Langøy in the 23rd minute of play. Janusz Wierzbicki kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, KP Opel Kamień's Gu Bang Jun made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jurand Bycofski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trond Langøy in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jurand Bycofski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jurand Bycofski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trond Langøy in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, KP Opel Kamień's Trond Langøy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jurand Bycofski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. 45 minutes into the game, Konstanty Kajder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Jurand Bycofski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half KP Opel Kamień were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tanek Slazak was the one to do the kick off. Trond Langøy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jurand Bycofski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 58 in the game by Trond Langøy from a close distance when the talented Jurand Bycofski managed to make a qualified save. Lechia Gdańsk's players were relieved. Trond Langøy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurand Bycofski having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Trond Langøy could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Jurand Bycofski however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Trond Langøy put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Jurand Bycofski. Lechia Gdańsk's Jurand Bycofski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Lechia Gdańsk from getting a goal against them. Jurand Bycofski was a little too slow when Trond Langøy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-11. In the 78th match minute, Lechia Gdańsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Klawke to maneuver through the defense. Jurand Bycofski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trond Langøy in the 79th minute. Jurand Bycofski made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Trond Langøy sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Lechia Gdańsk's Jurand Bycofski got control of the ball when Trond Langøy tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Izydor Budzynski fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lechia Gdańsk's protests and gave Izydor Budzynski a yellow card for diving instead. Izydor Budzynski kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Lechia Gdańsk getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Janusz Rydz hit a great ball. Trond Langøy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Jurand Bycofski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jurand Bycofski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Ross showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 93 minute of play. A collision led to Lechia Gdańsk getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cyryl Ogrodowicz hit a great ball. Napoleon Penkalski's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Jurand Bycofski - 0-13 was put on the score board in the 97th minute.
