The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Pittelli in the 5th minute of play forced KKP Spasione Kocury's goalkeeper Szczepan Orlicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliks Chazon hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The supporters of MCFC Cementarnica booed when KKP Spasione Kocury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Gabis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10th play minutes Andrea Pittelli shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Szczepan Orlicki and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Andrea Pittelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. MCFC Cementarnica's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrea Pittelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Szczepan Orlicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Andrea Pittelli made a precise shot to the right of Szczepan Orlicki. KKP Spasione Kocury's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Grzegorz Fabiszak got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Gilbert De Spiegeleire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MCFC Cementarnica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert De Spiegeleire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of KKP Spasione Kocury booed when MCFC Cementarnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. MCFC Cementarnica's Edgar Zatorski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Karanewski in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Gilbert De Spiegeleire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrea Pittelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Gilbert De Spiegeleire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Szczepan Orlicki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Szczepan Orlicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Pittelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Antoni Karanewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Zatorski having to interfere. MCFC Cementarnica's Andrea Pittelli got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Andrzej Gabis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Zatorski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Gilbert De Spiegeleire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Szczepan Orlicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KKP Spasione Kocury's Grzegorz Fabiszak got a free kick in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilbert De Spiegeleire kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Szczepan Orlicki. That made the score 1-4 in the 71 minute of play. KKP Spasione Kocury's Rafal Duda was substituted for Otto Bjelland. If Antoni Karanewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KKP Spasione Kocury's Juliusz Fink was substituted for Andrzej Gabis. Antoni Karanewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Zatorski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antoni Karanewski ran back to his position shaking his head. After 80 minutes of play, KKP Spasione Kocury's Antoni Karanewski made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Zatorski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, MCFC Cementarnica's Andrea Pittelli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. The audience was convinced that Antoni Karanewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Zatorski was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MCFC Cementarnica eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
